白沙羅華小（SJK (C) Damansara），簡稱白小，原校成立於1930年，原名華僑學校，位於白沙羅新村。回首77年前，白小只以木板蓋成四間教室和兩間教員宿舍。在華社出錢出力下，白小在2001年前已是一所設備齊全的學校，擁有十六間教室、食堂、圖書館、會議室及室內羽球場。眼看自己的心血在政府一聲令下就要付諸流水，華社豈肯坐以待斃？ 根據在1997至2010年八打靈再也發展藍圖中，市政局也提出擴建白小的建議。白沙羅為八打靈再也之下的其中一個社區，人口約有兩萬七千人，自白小被關閉後，該社區已沒有華小。但國陣政府，漠視民意，一聲令下關，就閉關閉了一所擁有77年的歷史，擁有1440名學位的華小。 自國陣政府通過教育部於2000年宣佈即將於2001年到1月2日關閉白小，直到今天白小保校運動已經進入2,556天。在白小遭閉8年，白小保校委員會依然在阮梁聖公廟的貨柜箱內為學生提供華文教育機會。在2008新学年依然拥有36名学生以及10名自愿教學人員。
