反對小圈選舉 釐清事實真相 捍衛學生權益 啟動白票運動
六個中學生團體對特首選舉的聯署聲明

近日社會大眾均十分關注特首選舉，候選人政綱本應屬於各界媒體討論焦點，但如今討論焦點慢慢偏離，只留於互相抹黑、發佈黑材料和報導花邊新聞。可惜，市民和學生對選舉只可隔岸觀火，因為香港市民從來沒有實質的投票權。

一直以來，中學生組織甚少公開聯署回應政治議題，但如今看到特首候選人不斷迴避學生和市民訴求，如梁振英和唐英年至今仍未就是否增設德育及國民教育科表態，可見學生權益和議題常被忽視，各學生組織決意以是次聯署表達我們對特首選舉的立場。

特首候選人連個人立場亦不願向公眾陳述，歸根究底就是選舉制度的缺陷，特首根本無須面對群眾，只需爭取一千二百名小圈子選委的支持，就可當選，根本不能代表香港普羅大眾市民的聲音。因此，我們反對小圈子選舉，相信只有通過一人一票的普選才可令特首候選人尊重學生的聲音和意見，同時也捍衛各界市民的權益。

此外，不同候選人現正接受各政府機構和獨立機關的調查，我們認為選委應在所有調查結束後，釐清事實真相，才決定是否投票支持某位對候選人，這才是負責任的態度。

由於小圈子選舉引致學生權益被忽視，我們呼籲各位同學於3月21日（星期三）參與「學界3.21影子民間全民投票」，並剔選「棄權」的選項，讓大比例白票反映學界真正的心聲和民意。我們也呼籲1200名的特首選委，為了下一代的公義、民主和普選權，於3月25日（星期日）以不投票表達反對小圈子選舉和爭取普選的訴求。

同時，我們也堅信「改變始於足下」，呼籲各位同學抽空參與「全民運動」的325行動，於特首選舉當日早上10時半由灣仔修頓球場遊行到灣仔會展附近的區域法院外集會，以足印打動政府，表達學界對普選和公義的追求。

Declaration on Chief Executive Election by six Secondary School student Association

Recently, the election of CE has been one of the public's concern.

The platform of candidates should be focused, yet smearing each other and circulation of scandals are eventually shown in some media.

Most citizens and students do not have a right to vote, thus they are not allowed to select the leader of Hong Kong.

Secondary school student association rarely sign petition about political issues, yet CE candidates often avoid answering whether they would add Moral and Civil Education, showing the negligence of students' opinion.
We therefore sign the petition and show our stance in this election.

CE candidate even do not disclose their stance, simply due to the loopholes of the election system. CE candidates do not even need to face the members of public, but they need the support from 1200-member from the Election Committee. Voices from the grassroots are often neglected.

Thus, we oppose small-circle election, and believe that one-person-one-vote universal suffrage is the only way to make CE candidates to respect voices and viewpoints from students, as well as to defend the public's right.
Moreover, different candidates are currently under the investigation of departments and commissions, and we reckon that the member of Election Committee shall show their support to a candidate after disclosure of the truth, in order to be responsible.

Due to the consequences of small-circle election, we now urge all students to participate "3.21 Mock Civil Referendum in schools", and vote abstention, in order to show your thoughts.

We also urge the 1200-member to cast blank vote or even not to vote to show opposition of small-circle election and the demand for universal suffrage.
We also believe that, "Action speaks louder than voice", and thus invite all students to participate the protest on 10:30am on 25 March, from Southorn Playground to the District Court next to Wanchai CEC in pursuit of universal suffrage and justice.
