We, the University of Kentucky Muslim Student Association along with the interfaith community of UK, would like to request the administration's cooperation in creating a non denominational space on campus where students can pray and reflect.
Whether this is the 5 daily Muslim prayers, other religious prayers, or general reflection, UK Students have a right to practice their religion and beliefs without undue hardship.
I support the initiative to create a non denominational place of worship on the University of Kentucky campus where students of all religious backgrounds can pray in a centrally located, private area.
