My name is Noland Kinney, a Filipino working as an Assistant Dairy Farm Manager for nearly a decade and my residency application has been declined. The government and it’s policies works against those wanting to immigrate into New Zealand and because of this, my family could be sent back to the Philippines where we no longer have any family remaining there and own nothing as a result.
We can’t afford to go back to the Philippines as my mother died last 2020 due to COVID and no longer have any family remaining there or own anything as a result of her passing. My family and I have built our lives here in New Zealand as this is our home now, My wife's family is all here in New Zealand, her parents have been living here for 26 years as well as her brothers and sister, aunties, her entire family is here.

I humbly ask that you take your time to read my story and sign this petition handwritten or digitally to support my family in our battle against the government to stay in New Zealand. Together with the help of Green Party MP Ricardo Menendez, the organisation group MASHH, journalists and most importantly support from you, the people who sympathise and help by signing this petition.
You already know me, Noland, a Filipino working as an Assistant Dairy Farm Manager for nearly a decade while simultaneously studying Primary Agito for 4 years and 8 months. I first arrived in New Zealand in 2014 with my wife and three children in hopes of building a brighter future and a more stable life here for my wife and children.
My eldest son Kevin started his studies at Tokoroa High School at Year 9 and is now in his third and final year at Toi Ohomai studying IT. My middle child, Pete began at Bishop Edward Gaines Catholic School at Year 5 and is now in his final year of high school at Tokoroa High School as a Year 13, hoping to stay here and continue his education in university to become a medical psychologist. Allen, my youngest daughter also began at Bishop Edward Gaines Catholic School at Year 4 and is now in Tokoroa High School as a Year 12, wishing to finish her high school education and service academy training to look at the career options laid out for her.

We're seeking help for our Residence Visa Application due to our circumstances in the Philippines and my health condition as last 2014 I was diagnosed with kidney disease but managed to stay working for almost a decade. My health situation has gotten a bit worse since 2020 when my mother died, given my health situation and circumstances back in the Philippines, I'd like you to consider my family’s situation as without help from the public, we could be sent out of the country back to a place we no longer call home and have nothing waiting there for us. Thank you for reading and considering signing this petition.
Sincerely Yours,
Noland Kinney And Family
