Abraham Lincoln, 16th president of the US, fought to preserve the union, signed the emancipation of slaves in the US, strenghtened the federal government and modernized the economy.

If you believe that history, and the art related to it is important, because everything that these historical actors did at the time through the years has let us come to the here and now. But we cannot forget the past, because the mistakes that were committed then will be forgotten. Then the blame falls on us if those same mistakes happen, because we did nothing to stop it. The US is one country, united, under the constitution, consacrated to God Almighty in whom we trust, and as Americans we need to stand together and unite. We may not always agree, but we are one people. Let us come together in peace and work to solve this issues. Let's not destroy history, because in the end, nothing is erased completely or forgotten.
