The degree of violence, rape and murder has reached catastrophic proportions in South Africa. It is a national emergency and immediate and drastic law enforcement measures should be implemented immediately. The harshest of punishments should be meted out to all perpetrators forthwith. It is an issue of national security: our women and children are being decimated at a rate equivalent to genocide.
I call upon every single male in the entire country to stand up and protect our women and children. It is incumbent on us as a society to put an end to this. The government and law enforcement are unwilling and unable to deal with it. We, the real men of this country, are responsible to stop it.
We call upon President Ramaphosa to stand up and take the lead. Lead us, Mr President, as a man, a husband, a father, a brother. Time to man up against the scourge!
