The purpose for the petition is to raise awareness and show support for Bill Reel and his family. He is currently facing disciplinary council on Nov. 27th for "repeatedly and deliberately speaking in opposition towards the church and it's leader's" exposing their unhealthy beliefs towards LGBT+ community, misleading facts (even lies) regarding basic truths and historical claims.
Those who know Bill Reel well know him to be a person of out most integrity, honesty, truth seeker & defender... for approximately twenty years he was an active faithful member going as far as serving as a Bishop within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints of which he almost assuredly faces excommunication.
The petition will demonstrate the amount of support Bill Reel has and raise awareness of his ground breaking work within Mormonism.
