Greenpoint Medical centre has been serving the community for the last 50 years. Being in the lowest socio-economic area in the country, without this service 8,000 patients will be without a gp and will struggle to travel outside this area for medical help. How are community members expected to have the upfront costs that are required at some Medical centres, even though there is a rebate they still need to have that upfront cost, how is this viable?
We are asking for Government to save Greenpoint Medical centre and for this centre to remain a bulk billing service.
