Save our Pool

A Jr. Olympic sized pool is a rare asset for any public school in Oklahoma. The facility should be recognized and utilized as it was intended when it was built in 1970. The heated and covered pool can be very beneficial to our small town community, offering a fun, family oriented safe place to swim for the adults and children alike.

Being centrally located our school pool can offer a great place to get fit and stay healthy as a family while offering physical fitness classes & pool rental for the entire community. Teaching Swim Lessons to our children will cut down on drowning deaths. Swim Lessons extend through out a lifetime offering parents peace of mind. Offering a healthy activity for children to do; during and after school; as well as the summer, boost their self-esteem thru learning how to swim, being and staying healthy, knowing water safety and by participating in swim competitions.

This opportunity may even present a detour from the always present of “bad influences” of drugs and alcohol for the children participating and even the Lifeguards we will be creating jobs for. Opening and running a public pool will help in boosting our economy and give a positive experience for years to come.
