On June 28th 2018 my 1 year old son christopher tell from the second floor from the gaurd rails and sustained injuries to the brain! It has also happened to another child and he now has life long injuries and select apartments is doing NOTHING about the safety of us as tenants or our kids And loved ones! The gaurd rails on the second floor are 8 inches wide and very unsturdy where on the 3rd floor they are the correct way!
PETITION TO SELECT APARTMENTS
We are all tenants at SELECT Apartments. We direct your attention to the following problems, and ask that prompt action be taken to correct them.
Safety on the second floor for tenants!
For child safety, the balusters or other decorative infill must be spaced less than 4 inches apart (a 4-inch-diameter ball should not pass between the balusters). The guardrail here at select apartments are 8 inches wide!
