Persimmon Homes completed Brindley Manor (Beacon Grove) in 2007. All homes are now occupied and last year the pavements were surfaced as they were a danger to the public and residents who used them.
Nearly one year on and the road is still un-surfaced. Not only is this very poor aesthetically, it causes damage to cars on the high ironwork and pavements. A number of properties are up for sale, and the unfinished road does not help with saleability.
Persimmon have been asked whether they plan to complete the works several times, and the Engineering Director’s response has been the same: ‘Not in the foreseeable future’. As this work was paid for by residents when purchasing properties on Brindley Manor, this response is not acceptable.
Please assist in getting action to surface the road at Brindley Manor by signing this petition.
