Radiant Church (Kalamazoo, MI) has failed to exemplify financial transparency with the Lord's funds, and the congregants and donors deserve better.
Dear Radiant Church Board of Elders & Overseers,
We have been made aware of prior correspondence from TruthBeKnown.org (“TBK”) requesting financial transparency by the Board of Elders & Overseers to the church body. We, the undersigned, share the belief that financial transparency is a core virtue of a healthy functioning church, and we, therefore, join TBK in requesting that the Radiant Church Board of Elders & Overseers exhibit this financial transparency for the good of both the church body and church leadership.
Specifically, we request that you carefully review the attached third-party accounting review from Plante & Moran, and produce the following:
1. Answers to the questions in the Plante & Moran analysis, including providing the additional documentation requested by Plante & Moran;
2. A copy of Radiant Church’s By-Laws; and
3. Copies of all financial documentation related to the downtown campus project.
Would you please provide this information to TBK and the Radiant church body within thirty (30) days of this letter.
