Allegations and evidence of plagiarism have surfaced concerning Seattle pastor Mark Driscoll's recent books "A Call to Resurgence" published by Tyndale, and "A Trial: 8 Witnesses from 1 & 2 Peter" published by Mars Hill Publishing.
Radio talk show host Janet Meffert has provided evidence of almost word for word copying from the Carson New Bible Commentary by D.A. Carson from the 1 & 2 Peter commentary, and further insufficient acknowledgments of direct quotations from Dr. Peter Jones.

We, the undersigned, call upon Tyndale Publishing, Mars Hill Publishing, and Pastor Mark Driscoll to issue a public apology and make appropriate amends in regards to the evidence of plagiarism found in the publications of Mark Driscoll.
We believe that Christian ministers, and publishers should be honest, and above reproach in regards to the laws of copyright, and giving credit where credit is due.
