The logo of the University of East Anglia is being replaced by one of inferior design and uncalled for expenditure.
The UEA logo is one that is striking and exemplary as it is. The replacement logo is not only a poorly designed, over-glitzed substitute which is at odds with the architecture, the students, and the ethos of the university, but is also a shamefully unnecessary distribution of the university's money.
We the students would find ourselves ashamed of such a replacement and are in protest against it.
