I am an aus citizen. My wife is not an aus citizen. We met in 2013. We married and my wife gave birth to a daughter in December 2014. My wife had been previously married, but they were separated.
We submitted a partner visa, but it was rejected as my wife had been refused a partner visa before. Our current relationship is genuine, but the regulation requires my wife to leave Australia to apply for the visa
Our daughter aged 3.5. I have a mother aged over 90 to look after. Our family is about to tear apart because of the migration regulation
We, the undersigned call on the minister of immigration to exercise his discretionary power to intervene in this matter to waive the regulation 1124B(3)e, schedule 3 and s48 to allow my wife to apply for the visa in Australia
