Why on Earth are people trying to get the phrase, "One nation, under God" taken out of the Pledge of Allegiance?
I have no clue. If people don't want to say it, they don't have to, but it should still be aloud. And I've heard that they're trying to get "In God we trust", taken off of the money, too. What's up with that?
And in some schools, including mine, we have to put B.C.E. and C.E. (Before Common Era, and Common Era) instead of B.C. and A.D. (Before Christ, and Ano Demini [Spelling?])God should never be forcibly removed from anything.
We, the undersigned, believe that the phrase "One nation, under God..." should be left in the Pledge of Allegiance. We also believe that, "In God we trust," should be left on all of the money, and in schools, the terms, B.C. and A.D. should be used, as well as/instead of B.C.E. and C.E.
