We are opposed to any further rezoning for additional development on South Caraway until the necessary infrastructure improvements are made in order to protect the existing quality of life of those living and working in our community.
We, the undersigned residents of Jonesboro, are opposed to rezoning application for a 300 Unit Apartment Complext to be located at 3911 South Caraway Road (RZ 17-08; Ord. 17:021). We are opposed to any further rezoning for additional development on South Caraway Road until the City of Jonesboro improves infrastructure by widening this vital North/South transportation artery. The proposed location is on a two lane road that handles more than 15,000 cars daily. This is an important quality of life issue for residents of Jonesboro.
