Hungry Jacks Please Stop Your 10% Surcharges

Hungry Jacks started up as a master fast food franchise of the Burger King corp back in the Perth suburb of Innaloo in 1971. The initial success of the business led to a rapid expansion. Our first South Australian store, on Anzac Highway Everard Park, opened in November 1972, followed by Kedron in Queensland in April 1974.

Fast forward 45 years and there are 400 locations and many more are opening across Australia.

For the past 4- 8 weeks there have been numerous complaints on the Hungry Jacks Facebook page that they have introduced a 10% surcharge on public holidays and of course customers aren't happy. If its good enough for Mcdonalds and KFC etc (unless Im mistaken) not to introduce a surcharge then Hungry Jacks should stop.

I encourage you as consumers of Hungry Jacks to sign this petition so that they can stop this price gouging on public holidays.
