In 2013 a Rotweiler residing at 7919 Craig Street in Holmesburg attacked my Yorkshire terrier poodle mix, the owner was charged in criminal court had to pay vet bills and put a 6ft fence up, May 2014, the same rotweiler yet again ran at large attacking my dog while it was being walked nearly killing her. The owner was yet again charged in criminal court and plead guilty to harbouring a dangerous dog has 1500.00$ restitution as well as had to get a 50,000 bond on the residence and place signs warning the community. This same woman licensed the dog to a quadrapalegic whom resides in the cape may villas. Animal control will not press fraud charges because they state it is up to the handicapped family to do so, a police report was filed 7/14/14 per his power of attorney at the 15th district and passed to the northeast detectives but was never followed through allowing this may for the dogs to be relicensed.
Moving forward our community in Holmesburg is in fear that our children animals and seniors are at risk and do not want this dog brought back since it has attacked twice already ...please help us by signing this petition so we may present it to a judge and proceed further for the safety of our community!
