On April 20th 1999 , 15 people were killed in a mass shooting in Columbine High School. On July 20th 2012, 12 people were killed in a mass shooting in Aurora Colorado in a movie theater. On December 14th 2012, 28 people in total and 27 at and elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, 20 of those victims were kids aged between six and seven. On February 14th 2018, 17 people were killed and 14 were injured in a school shooting in Parkland Florida.
We, the undersigned, call on the NRA to eliminate the use of assault rifles for recreational purposes.
