Drivers have to park illegally and have received tickets during deliveries. We are asking for reimbursement of any fees/penalties incurred in the line of duty.
In addition, during Covid and beyond, drivers go into questionable areas, risking property and personal safety. Drivers would ask for the freedom to request that customers meet at building/lobby entrance to prevent leaving vehicles unattended, and for driver safety.
We, the undersigned, call on Human Resources to instate a Driver Reimbursement policy to cover parking fees and/or penalties incurred during deliveries. In addition, we ask to directly request that customers meet at building lobby/entrance to minimize parking and safety issues/concerns.
