GCB (formerly titled Good Christian Bs and then Good Christian Belles) is a new ABC/Disney comedy-drama television series based on the book “Good Christian Bs” by Kim Gatlin.
This program ridicules and mocks the Christian faith and Christian women in particular. Taking a stand against such buffoonery protects the dignity of all women, of all Faiths.
On Sunday, March 4th, Disney-ABC Television launched a new comedy-drama called “GCB.” The title is an acronym for “Good Christian Bitches,” taken from a book by the same title. Disney-ABC Television claims that “GCB” stands for “Good Christian Belles,” but the promos paint a very different picture:
“Welcome to Dallas home of fancy stitches, lots of riches and Good Christian _______.”
We are aware of the fact that there are Christian and non-Christian women who lack maturity and discretion. But calling women the B-word is inexcusable. We are demanding that Disney-ABC Television cancel “GCB.”
We encourage you to also discontinue supporting the sponsors of “GCB.” They include Target, JC Penny, Kraft Foods, Post Foods, Pepsi, Best Foods, Goodwill, Hulu and many others. The giants are big, but God is bigger. Please sign this petition and pass it on.
