Around about 450,000 baby cows are slaughtered each year because they are unwanted and unfit for making milk. This is unacceptable and needs to be stopped. Also, young cows are separated from their mothers at one day old, after their mothers automatically make a bond with their young, causing depression for both mother and calf. And along with this, they are transported into a truck, (stuffed in the truck) at only a few days olf, unable to handle the stress. Along with this they are forced into the trucks and out, being thrown around and chucked by the head and even prodded with rods in the ribs and head. This is animal cruelty but happens every day with no one doing anything about it. I would also like to say that the machines the cows are hooked up to to be milked give the cows infections and hurt them very very much. They are hooked up to machines that suck on their uterus harmfully, giving the majority of them a disease or painful infection later on.
Please sign this petition for the rights of young cows. We need to take action against the cruelty of cows and we need to stop this before it get's worse, there are more civil, peaceful ways to treat cows. There may be many cows in the world, but 450,000 young cows are killed forcefully each year, think about that. I would like to request that all beef, cattle and dairy farms in Australia stop this inhumane thing and protect the cows instead of harming them. We request they give the cows peace and do not slaughter them. I would also like to request the machines the cows are hooked up to don't hurt them and make sure they are prevented from diseases. I would like to request that the RSPCA also protect the animals as well.
