Not too long ago the Buffalo School Board brought fat-free chocolate milk into the lunch venue as, lets say a part of the healthy path that they are attempting to put us on.
Unfortunately there was a vast amount of fat-free chocolate milk left at the end of the day as the students of Hutch Tech chose not to experiment with the new milk offered. Shorty after without notice or warning, the School Board made fat-free chocolate milk our only option of chocolate milk.
The reaction of the student body was silent as many did not know what to do about this change. The new milk leaves a bitter after taste and looks like turpentine. This forces students to spend money on other forms of drinks from the machine instead of getting free chocolate milk.
There has been research done on the calories consumed and the decrease of it but never on how it affected the students or how they felt about it.
We, the undersigned, call on the Buffalo Board of Education to eliminate fat-free chocolate milk as the only form of chocolate milk available to students.
