Bring a Cash Saver Grocery Store to Waterloo

In 2017 the Hy-Vee grocery store on University Ave in Waterloo closed, leaving an empty building on a well-traveled thoroughfare.
With the closure of the Dahl's stores in Des Moines some of the former Dahl's were converted into CASH SAVER stores. The pricing model is cost plus 10%. The prices and quality of food at Cash Saver are outstanding with similar frills of higher priced stores, national brands, hand cut steaks, fresh produce, an extensive liquor department, pharmacy, and more. I've crunched the numbers and I typically save about 40% over Hy-Vee's prices when I shop there. Friends and family from Waterloo have been asking me if I knew how to get a Cash Saver open in the old Hy-Vee. I thought that perhaps starting a petition might give Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc (Cash Saver's parent company) the incentive to look at Waterloo as a potential market.
