High Fructose Corn Syrup. Is also is known as Glucose-Fructose. HFCS/Glucose-Fructose is responsible for a dangerous epidemic of obesity, diabetes, liver disease, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, cancer.

Also HFCS/Glucose-Fructose activates the same metabolic pathways as alcohol. The liver treats them both like toxins. Rats that were fed HFCS/Glucose-Fructose gained significantly more weight than those were fed table sugar, even when the calore intake was the same.

They don't use high fructose corn syrup/Glucose-Fructose in the EU as well as Asia, Latin America, Australia/Oceania. High fructose corn syrup/Glucose- Frutose is in such foods/ drinks as pop, some juices, some energy drinks, some baked goods, candies, even some brands of Ketchup etc. In Canada and the US.
