Australian consumers are again being misled by the latest version of poor labelling.
Today Tony Abbott and Barnaby Joyce announced a new Australian Made that branding process does not nominate products that are Australian Owned.
It is vital consumers can choose Australian Owned AND Australian Made products when they are shopping.
Under the current labelling system any multinational exporting profits out of Australia can hide behind the Australian Made logo.
Australian Made should support Australian Owned businesses!
As an Australian consumer I demand that Australian Made labelling nominates Australian Owned businesses.
I want to know my shopping dollar directly supports Australian jobs and Australian business owners keeping profits in Australia.
