ALLOW US TO BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL

We the community of Rocking the Daisies music festival Urge you to allow us to bring our own alcohol to the event. For years now this has been allowed at your event, until recently it was changed only 4 weeks before this annual event. 95% of tickets have already been sold. Meaning 95% of the people attending were unaware when purchasing a ticket to this event that they would later be informed they are no longer allowed to bring their own alcohol. It is unfair and unlawful to suddenly change the constricts of this event. We the community understand that there are certain pressures perhaps by government or municipality to keep a clean event and not cause pollution. But disallowing us the necessity of bringing our own alcohol is not a solution. We understand that you have stated there will be more bars and staff, however we as the community do not want to spend any unnecessary time in lines waiting for drinks. Not just that but the culture of having pre-drinks before a Jol is part of the experience. Taking that away will take away from the experience. We love this festival and we appreciate the effort put in by management to organize it, please do not ruin it for everyone.
