Abolish The TV License

If you dont pay your TV license you could face a fine of upto £1000 and in some cases could even go to prison. It costs £145.50 for colour and £49.00 for a black and white TV License but lets think about it, exactly who has a black and white TV these days?

Its fair to say that £145 a year is way overpriced as reports show that BBC alone show on average 580 days or repeats in a year. For example, BBC1 is currently showing a programme in the primetime slot that just over 6 weeks ago was on at 9:15am. BBC3 show the same programme as many as 4 times staggered through a single day! Most of what the BBC show is aimed at the older generation but ironically they get their licence at a discount.

I could go on and on about this but you people out there know exactly what I mean, so lets pull together and abolish the TV Licence fee's!
