Declaration of Allegiance to Choshen Mishpat

לכן, אנחנו, היהודים החתומים מטה, מצהירים ש:

1. אנחנו נאמנים אך ורק לה' ולתורתו.
2. איננו מכירים את סמכות המערכת המשפט של מדינת ישראל, ולא כל מערכת משפט אחרת בארץ ישראל שאיננה פועלת ע"פ התורה.
3. נכבד את הזכויות של בני אדם אחרים, ונתנהג ביחסים שלנו איתם ע"פ חוקי התורה הנמצאים בעיקר בחלק חושן משפט של השו''ע.
4. במקרה ונצטרך לתבוע מיהודים אחרים, נעשה כן בבית דין הלכתי, ונקבל את פסקיו באדיבות כסופיים ומחייבים באופן מוסרי.
5. לא נתבע תביעה בבתי משפט, אלא במקרים שמותר לעשות כן ע''פ ההלכה.

בנוסח התפילה:

השיבה שופטינו כבראשונה ויועצינו כבתחילה והסר מעלינו יגון ואנחה, ומלוך עלינו אתה ה' לבדך בחסד וברחמים, וצדקנו במשפט.

Therefore, we, the undersigned Jews, recommit ourselves and declare that:

1. We are loyal only to Hashem and His Torah.
2. We do not recognize the authority of the judicial system of the State of Israel, nor of any other non-Torah system of laws in the land of Israel.
3. We will respect the rights of all our fellow humans and conduct ourselves in our relationships with them in accordance with the rulings of the Choshen Mishpat.
4. In the event that we need to resort to legal action against our fellow Jews, we will do so only in a duly constituted Jewish court, whose decisions we will accept graciously as final and morally binding.
5. We will not file claims in the secular courts against our fellow Jews which are forbidden according to halacha.

In the words of the daily prayers:

Restore our judges as in earlier times and our advisors as at first; remove from us sorrow and groan; may You, Hashem, rule over us alone, with kindness and compassion, and justify us with judgment.
