今年11月30日旺角花園街大火後，政府對排檔嚴厲執法。同時，食物及衛生局於12月13日開展為期兩個月「小販固定攤檔的管理」制度的諮詢，建議引入釘牌制度，如商販在三個月內違規六次會遭釘牌，嚴重違規事項（包括分租攤檔、非法駁電及提供虛假資料三項等）天會立即釘牌。有關諮詢期十分倉促，二月十二日即止。（政府建議方案內容：http://bit.ly/xIp2Oi） 過時又無願景的小販政策固然要改革，無度的執法，令商販生存困難，受苦的將會是每天以僅夠餬口的收入解決生活問題的基層市民，以及整個社區的生態保存。小販是基層自主生活的基礎，自力更生的出路，也是草根人士常以消費的場所，管理得宜更是本港旅遊的賣點。我們相信，建設安全美觀的小販區是可能的。 read more
