The quality of life in the Willodale area is being severely impeded due to the noise pollution coming from high-end sports vehicles and other cars who have had modifications to increase the volume of their engine. Stunt racing, engine revving and other stunts used to display the power of car engines is disrupting the sleep and quality of life of many people in the area, most worryingly young families.
This petition calls on the municipal Government of Toronto to take action to prohibit the speed and volume of these sports cars and ensure that Willowdale is a community where young families can settle and not be disrupted in their own homes by the excessive noise pollution and racing of high performance spots vehicles
