In attempt to solve the issue of capacity at West Spring school, CBE followed a process and ended up with outcome that is not acceptable by the parents. Key issues within process include:
1) How all options were chosen and analysed.
2) Selection process of the parent focus group.
3) Missing rationale behind the decision.
Honorable Superintendent:
We would like to appeal the decision made by The Planning Director and we ask for an independent audit of the entire process based on following:
1) The planning director quoted some parents in his decision, however NO PARENTS have rejected the idea of K-6. In other words all parents accept the K-6 decision.
2) Selection of the parent focus group is questionable and there is no transparency.
3) Data presented by the planning team to the parents are under question.
When process, data, and people engaged are questionable, the outcome and decision CANNOT be enforceable and we appeal to you to reconsider the decision and initiate audit and enquiry in this matter.
The previous petition made and signed by 700+ parents is part and partial of this petition.
