It is being purchased by developers who will not leave it alone.
We oppose any plans to redevelop the Wenlock Arms. We believe it should remain an independent public house serving its local and wider communities. Wonderful community pubs like ours are few and far between.
The pub will not be able to continue as it is if flats are built above it, for a host of reasons including noise problems and the loss of the function room.
No to any development!
