Halfords advertised Bridgestone 20555R16 as free on their online Autocentre site. At no point through booking the advertised service was there an option to make payment (as basket total was £0.00 aka free) so booking was completed displaying total PAID as £0.00.
Upon completing the booking I received an confirmation email for 1:30pm at my local Halfords Autocentre.
I have since received an email from Halfords cancelling my booking, stating they have never even,
a) sold tyres for £0.00
and,
b) denying they sold these exact tyres in the first place.
