People in the erindale shopping area are left without parking space if anything non-regular is on, for example, on the 16th of September, a big soccer game was on, this left people parking 200 meters away from the venue on grass.
Also added to this total is the people getting take away, dine in, going to the library, eating at the vikings club, people doing pokies, or just picking there kids up from the Southern Canberra Gymnastics Centre. We need more space to park in set off areas, rather than anywhere we can find.
We call upon the ACTPLA to put in more areas for Canberrans to park in the Erindale centre area.
