Voldoendes Herkansen - Resitting Sufficient Grades

Op dit moment is het bij de Faculteit Letteren niet mogelijk om voldoendes te herkansen. Slechte prestaties die het gevolg zijn van vervelende persoonlijke omstandigheden kunnen hierdoor niet worden verbeterd en kunnen het gemiddelde van een student erg naar beneden halen.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat studenten het uiterste uit hun studie kunnen halen en met een representatief gemiddelde verder kunnen naar hun masteropleiding of naar de arbeidsmarkt, pleit Letteren Vooruit voor het invoeren van een nieuwe herkansingsregeling, die het herkansen van voldoendes mogelijk maakt. At the moment, students at the Faculty of Arts do not have the opportunity to take a resit for a sufficient grade. Because of this, poor performances due to unpleasant personal circumstances cannot be improved, which could bring the student’s average grade down.
To make sure that students can get the best out of their studies and can continue their career with a representative final average grade when applying for a MA or a job, Letteren Vooruit pleads for the possibility to take a resit for a sufficient grade.
