Veto the Order of Canada from Henry Morgentaler

To: Governor General Michaelle Jean and Prime Minister Stephen Harper,

We, the undersigned , draw your attention to the following:

THAT we, the undersigned Canadian Citizens, firmly believe that the criterion in order to recieve an Order of Canada appointment is "a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation".

THAT we strongly oppose that the Government of Canada endeavors to present the prestigious award to a man whos occupation for many years has been muting the lives of defenseless unborn children;

THAT Dr. Henry Morgentaler achieved his goal by breaking the laws of Canada at the time;

THAT Henry Morgentaler did not respect woman to be the cradle of life but merely a trash can to be emptied at will,

THEREFORE, your petitioners call upon the Right Honourable Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Canadian Governor General Your Excellency Michaelle Jean, to promptly revoke Mr. Morgentaler's Order of Canada appointment by Ordinance of the Governor General of Canada.
