The lack of vegetarian and vegan options generate an insensitive atmosphere for a number of the Mohawk College population, as many peoples dietary needs have not been met.
The lack of vegetarian and vegan food has left many people without the option of buying a meal at school.
We, the Mohawk College vegetarian and vegan poplulation, call upon Mohawk food services to solve the inadequate supply of vegetarian and vegan food on campus.
Mohawk needs to adopt a new menu that serves a variety of healthy vegetarian and vegan foods. Vegetarians and vegans are constantly being overlooked and over-charged for their meals on campus, Mohawks goal should be to meet the dietary needs of all of its students and staff population.
