The Orange and surrounds Community is suffering due to a sever shortage of first response police. Orange surrounding towns Cowra, Parkes, Molong are at the bottom of the police per capita of NSW.
This situation has resulted in a crime spike, guns, theft, vehicle burning and resultant PTSD.
All are on the increase. Mutiple residents have been impacted by the shortage and often poor response time. One AVO breach took 12 hours.
We, the people of Orange and surrounds, demand that the NSW State government rectify the lack of front line police staff and lack of appropriate funding to the Orange Community Police Force.
