- Target:
- Business & Accountancy students at the University of Edinburgh
- Region:
- United Kingdom
At the beginning of the semester students successfully managed to petition the university to extend the proposed examination period from 2 to 4 weeks. Many third year students following the accounting accreditation path are now being asked to sit all six of our exams in TEN days.
We believe this to be unfair as 5 of these courses are compulsory and most students will have chosen to take either of the two finance courses which result in their examination period being as little as ten days.
There is no reason why these exams could not be more spread out, we finish on the 9th May when the examination diet runs until the 23rd May!
We, the undersigned, call upon the Univeristy of Edinburgh to reconsider the examination timetable to take into consideration the unfair date allocation of these examinations.
