In 1971, the UK Government illegally installed Idi Amin as president of Uganda (http://www.africanfront.com/amindada.php).
This led to 7 years of dramatic economic decline and also to dreadful human rights violations, including of course many gruesome deaths.
The UK Government bears responsbility for the Human Rights Violations, and also for the economic decline, which took another 21 years for Uganda to recover from after Idi Amin was forced from power.
We hereby urge the International Criminal Court to charge the British Government with Crimes against Humanity in illegally assisting the installation of Idi Amin as President of Uganda, depite knowing full well the barbaric character of Amin.
We wish that the ICC award substantial financial reparations against the UK and in favour of Uganda.
