Two Ahwazi Arabs, Ali Chebieshat and Syed Khalad Mousawi are facing imminent execution

As a result of Iran’s continues violation of human rights in Al-Ahwaz,two political Ahwazi Arabs at risk of imminent execution.In 18 March 2014, Fajer's Prison officials in Deziful city informed families during visiting time that security services transferred prisoners to unknown place. Ali Chebeishat and Sayed Khalad Mousavi from Shush's city in Al- Ahwaz in southern Iran face the death penalty since August 2013.

The Islamic Revolutionary Court branch two in Ahwaz has issued the death sentence in September 2013 by Judge Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Moussawi. Salman Chayani was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment in the city of Yazd,while the other two were given death penalties. All were arrested in 11-11-2012 and for ten months they were under torture in the intelligence services detention in Ahwaz.

Ali Chebeishat (49), Sayed Khalad Mousawi (36) and Salman Chayani (33), were forced to confess to bomb attacks on a pipeline and a railway track in interviews with Press TV ahead of their sentencing by a revolutionary court in September. Their forced "confessions", following months of torture, have been recorded for broadcast by Iran's English language broadcaster Press TV.

According to a recent secret executions in Al-Ahwaz, on November 3, 2013 Four Ahwazi Arab activists, Ghazi Abassi, Abdol-Reza Amir Khanafareh, Abdol-Amir Majdami and Jasem Moghaddam-Panah, all residents of Fallahieh(Shadegan) were also transferred from Karoun Prison to unknown locations after one month during a call Iranian intelligence ministry officials have informed the families their sons executed. They executed collectively but their bodies have not been delivered to their families. Furthermore, on December 7, 2013 two Ahwazi Arabs Hashem Shaabani a Ahwazi poet, teacher, blogger along with Hadi Rashedi a chemistry teacher both residents of Khalafiya (Ramshir) were executed secretly and Intelligence services contacted the families by phone on January 29, 2014 and informed them of the alleged executions.

Chebieshat and Mousawi families are deeply concern about the fate of their sons. They are fearing the imminent execution as it was the case of other Ahwazi activists who are transferred from prison but later were executed without notifying their families.
