Burglaries increased in our area since street lighting was turned off & minimal police presence after closure of local police station.
I propose they are turned on to reduce the risk to residents of Halstead and surrounding area immediately.
This is clearly an ongoing issue that will only end badly.
We the people of Halstead and surrounding villages that are being consistently targeted by criminals request that our street lighting is immediately turned on to reduce the risk to our residents who are clearly willing to take any risks necessary to get what they want.
We also ask for more police presence in the town during after dark hours.
