Thank you for your support. 202 signatures will be presented at the Advisory Parent Board meeting on Monday, May 5, 2008.
We, the undersigned, believe that the decision-making process and the method of informing Mr. John Stradley that he would not be offered a contract for the 2008-2009 school year failed to meet standards of professionalism and did not exhibit the Catholic value of preserving the dignity of each person.
We wish to establish an open and fair process to protect our teachers, whom we support and value, from any further unilateral actions of this kind. We also wish to spare St. Barnabas parents and children from experiencing the uncertainty and lack of trust that this action has caused.
This petition advocates that St. Barnabas School and Parish Administration establish a transparent, fair, and Christian process for major decisions affecting faculty employment and the continuation of special programs.
