Every day I see dangerous situations at the intersection of Remuera Road and Waitaria Road.
Children and elderly suffering to cross the road. It is sad to see.
Auckland Transport said that there is no need for traffic lights because does not have enough people crossing the road. Everyone who needs drive or walk throw this point is stressed and in a dangerous situation.
Children coming ang going to school trying to crossing the road sometimes by theirselves.
It is scary.
Please help to make the intersection of Remuera Road x Waitarua Road safer for pedestrians and drivers.
Wairarua Road is a school road and must have a pedestrian crossing, traffic lights or at least school zone speed control signs at Remuera Road around this intersection.
