Tougher Penalties and Fines for Animal Abuser

Pet-Abuse.com has collected statistics on animal cruelty since 2001. As of October 13, 2012 they have 19,517 cases listed on their web site. These animal abuse stats for the U.S. are from their database: It’s not just dogs it’s all animals.

It’s sad to say, but incidents of animal abuse are widespread and affect many different species. Among the animals most likely to suffer abuse at the hands of humans in some form are dogs, cats, livestock such as cows and pigs, horses and birds.
