It appears that with all the major banks and smaller ones too, they are trying to generate revenue at any and all cost of the customer.
The bank overdraft fees have become a off limit exception to all these regulations. It's time that the banks adhere to the same regulation that credit card companies have to abide by.
Congress needs to pass legislation that would provide customers better protection from the banking industry. People should have time to resolve their over drawn account before the bank withdraws the money. People should be notified first and be given an opportunity to deposit money into their account.
People should be given an agreement that they can actually understand. Its Time to Stop the Banks from squeezing more money from the American people than what they have already received from the bailout.
