Facebook Administration

United States of America

I have been reported on Facebook may times. I have been forced to remove pictures and post that, in my opinion, offend no one. When Facebook receives a report, they automatically shut down one's Facebook and do not allow one access until one meets Facebooks demands. Then the accused is put on Facebook probation, and not allowed to post on their own wall.

If they are reported more than once, they are forced off of Facebook for 24, or more, hours, losing (in some cases) the only way they have to contact friends and family.

In some cases one person is constantly reporting the same person over and over again, for no other reason than they dislike said person. In any other situation, this would be considered harassment.

Have you ever been reported on Facebook? Have you ever wondered who it is that is reporting you?

We are being forced to remove pictures and posts because "they do not meet Facebook Community Standards". We have no idea who is reporting us because Facebook allows them to report us "Anonymously". Because of this, we cannot remove whoever it is reporting us from our friend list. This needs to stop.

In America, when accused of a crime, no matter how small the crime, we have the right to face our accuser. We believe that it should be the same on Facebook.

We should be able to know who our accuser is, so that we may remove them, and put an end to what amounts to, in some cases, basic harassment.

We, the undersigned, believe that if we are being made to remove a post or picture, that we should also have the option to remove the "Friend" who is reporting us.

We, the undersigned, call on the Facebook Administration to put an end to "Anonymous Reporting".
