A Safe Haven's Homeless Veterans Organization is a newly formed 501c3 being formed to assist ALL Veterans rather HOMELESS or NOT, to ensure they are properly informed of their rights as both American Citizens and as Active-Duty/Veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
The Mission along with ensuring Active-Duty/Veterans of the Armed Forces is aware of their RIGHTS is to also ensure they are being treated fairly within the Veterans Administration System.
We, the undersigned, call on the U.S. Veterans Administration to investigate both the services and skill set of the case workers, specifically Cleveland Jefferson assigned to A Safe Haven's Homeless Veterans.
A Safe Haven's Homeless Veterans is requesting an investigation of the services and professional demeanor provided by Mr. Cleveland Jefferson, a Case Worker currently working at A Safe Haven to assist homeless veterans with needed services and the main goal of ensuring clients (homeless veterans) obtain housing.
As a whole, the current residents of the A Safe Haven's Homeless Veterans Organization (501c3 pending) feel Mr. Jefferson is not working in the best interest of the clients (veterans) assigned to his roster. He is lackadaisical in performing his duties, condescending, irreverent and most of the times unavailable.
Specifically:
- He is not timely or attentive toward the needs of Veterans who require medication for PTSD and other medical diagnosis.
- He is not professional in his demeanor towards Veterans who require services such as Notary, Basic
We are not requesting that he be terminated but, rather moved to a different position where his skills can better benefit the daily operations within the Veterans Administration System.
